For U.S. and Canadian enquiries, the entry of state / province is mandatory.
In addition to the geographical search fields, the D&B D-U-N-S® Number can be used to produce the quickest, single result.
Telephone number and national registration number can also be used to look for a business (Western Europe only).
The Search Result shows the businesses that are the closest matches on the D&B database for the criteria entered on the search screen.
In some cases the name of the business as shown on the list can be quite different to the name entered: this is where the business’s trading style was a match for the search criteria.
Depending on how much D&B knows about a business, different products will be listed as available here, and often products will be available in more than one language.
To see examples of each product, click on ‘Samples’ at the top of the screen.
When an important event occurs that impacts the state of a business, by choosing one of more of the D&B Monitoring modules you can be sure to be in touch with the latest information.
When a change occurs, you will receive a monitoring notice which will be red, amber or green, depending on the severity of the change.
Please enter as much information as you have on the business you are looking for.
In addition to the business name, you must enter the town where you think the business is located.
Select the product required, the priority (speed of service), and the language you wish the report to be delivered in.
Check your contact details, and once your request has been processed, an investigated report will be delivered to your mailbox.
Note: your contact details will be used to ensure that investigated reports and monitoring notices get to the right place. If you are outside of Portugal, please ensure that the correct international dialling code for your telephone and fax numbers is included.
The D&B Mailbox screen lists all the items that reside in your Mailbox.
These items will either be D&B Monitoring notices – displayed with a severity colour code – or investigated reports.
Viewing a Mailbox item will not remove it from the Mailbox, to allow for loss of original copies 14 days later items will be cleared down.
Unread items will be cleared down after a period of 30 days.
