To process the credit application D&B programmed the information I needed into DecisionMaker. Users select new or existing customer from the drop down box, from this DecisionMaker specifies what further information is required.

For existing clients DecisionMaker requests the user to enter amount the customer has spent with us in the past.

Please supply the following information about this enquiry:
Type of customer	Existing
No. of commercial vehicles in fleet
What has the account spent to date?
Over how many months?

For new clients the credit limits depend upon the:

• no. of vehicles being covered; and
• the credit risk of the applicant.

Staff simply key in the details and DecisionMaker automatically calculates the credit limit we need using our own internal credit limit formulas and risk calculation.
